Um, you don’t think we could go into Clay county, St. Johns or Nassau and recruit some promising teachers for 14k? What about hitting up the states teacher colleges? How many grads do you think would jump at 14 thousand and those teachers would probably stay a lot longer than two years.
TFA not only odes the exact opposite of what we know these children need but as you can see it is ridiculously expensive as well.
Mind you these are non education majors, who go through a six week teacher boot camp who are only supposed to stay two years.
