Kelili Stargel, I am all for parental choice as long as they choose the option I give them.

With a nod to Bob Sykes and Scathing Purple Musings:

Among other nonsense Mrs. Stargel wrote in her hometown paper, the Lakeland Ledger was the following:

Unfortunately, this paper has chosen the defeatist idea that parents do not know or care to have a say in what is best for their children. This is a dangerous mantra believing only the bureaucrats know what is best. I wholeheartedly disagree.

What she doesn’t mention is that parents have overwhelmingly come out against the parent Trigger bill. This makes her one of those bureaucrats that she is warning against and a hypocrite.

The problem Mrs. Stargel is you are all for parent choice but only as long as parents choose the option you give them. Try asking parents if they would rather fix the problems in public education many of which were created by you and your kind in Tallahasse or privatize our public schools. Give parents that choice.
