If Maryland needs 100 million to get ready for common core then how much will Florida?

From the Washington Post’s Answer Sheet: A new report from
Maryland’s Education Department to the legislature says that the vast majority
of schools in many of the state’s counties are not technologically prepared to
give new online Common Core-aligned standardized tests and that at least $100
million will have to be spent by 2015 to get ready.
A few months ago new ed commissioner Pam Stewart said Common
core would not cost anything extra despite the fact even common core supporters
said it will cost in the hundreds of millions and other groups said possibly
over a billion.
Before we continue shouldn’t we have an ho nest conversation
about how much it is going to cost, where that money is going to come from and if Common Core is the best use of our limited resources?
