Thursday approved a sweeping charter school bill that would, among other
things, require traditional public schools to share empty classroom space with
school districts to give and then maintain, empty schools and even classrooms
to charter schools many of which are for profit entities not beholden to the public.
we have empty schools and classrooms is because charter schools have taken
children out of the public schools.
Just so there is no
mistake, you should know the Florida Legislature wants public school districts
to give away the public’s assets to for profit companies. Companies that re more interested in making a quick buck than educating our children.
